Professional fund investors and analysts select Tenax as top rated UK domiciled fund
The unique fund rating business Sharing Alpha, has listed Church House’s Tenax Absolute Return Strategies Fund as the 4th highest rank fund in their July 2019 Hedge Fund category results.
Sharing Alpha invites professional fund investors and analysts to rate funds based on price, people and process. This community approach was launched in 2016 and their website states that they so far have 12,165 vetted professionals from over 75 different countries participating in their platform.
The Tenax Absolute Return Strategies Fund sits in the IA Targeted Absolute Return sector and as a genuine multi-asset fund it is classified by Sharing Alpha as having a Multialternative strategy. This award winning fund has recently retained its Financial Express 5-Crown rating for the seventh time in succession. As markets become more volatile and commentators warn of recession it enjoys strong support from portfolio managers seeking a defensive holding.
Launched back in 2007 the fund has its origins in a Private Client portfolio for an investor seeking a low-volatility solution. The objective is to deliver a return greater than cash, as measured by the 3-month LIBOR, over rolling twelve month periods. Sam Liddle, Sales Director at Church House Investment Management said "Tenax goes from strength to strength and it is great to see the fund receiving a strong endorsement from such a wide audience of investors and analysts. Looking ahead if uncertainty and volatility continues the fund is well placed to capitalise on opportunities whilst sticking to the priority of capital preservation."
