Professional Adviser have shortlisted the Church House Tenax Absolute Return Strategies Fund in their Best Multi-Asset Fund: Positive Return Category
Our highly rated Absolute Return fund has been included in a shortlist of three funds in the Professional Adviser 2020 Awards.
Having managed the fourth quarter of 2018 with very little drawdown, Tenax enjoyed a strong year in 2019 with the addition of £166m of new assets taking the fund to £436m at the end of the year. Much of the success of the fund can be attributed to the managers’ discipline in sticking to the mandate and taking a patient approach to identifying and capitalising on opportunities. Over the course of 2019, the twin investment strategies of floating rate notes and corporate bonds have supported the goal of smoothing returns.
Sam Liddle, Sales Director at Church House, said "It is always positive when the fund is acknowledged as one of the most consistent in its sector. Despite negative press coverage for the Targeted Absolute Return sector, our positive fund flows have proved that many fund selectors are looking beyond the headlines for a fund that will provide insurance in their portfolios against the worst extremes of market volatility, and Tenax fits that requirement perfectly".
