Jeremy Wharton, joint CIO and Manager of our Investment Grade Fixed Interest Fund as well as co-Manager of the Tenax Absolute Return Strategies Fund, has been accredited as an Alpha rated Manager by FE fundinfo for 2020.
Every year thousands of fund managers are evaluated to determine those who have consistently outperformed their peer group over time. This year the FE fundinfo Alpha Manager Ratings 2020 event is hosted on 7th May by actor and comedian, Stephen Mangan.
We are delighted that Jeremy has been recognised for the fifth consecutive time in the top 10% of fund management talent, especially following our recent success at the 2020 Professional Adviser Awards, which saw Church House’s Tenax Fund win the Best Multi-Asset Fund: Positive Return award. It has been a fantastic start to the year for Church House.
Jeremy says “I am thrilled to receive this rating as it highlights the hard work we have been doing at Church House. Both the Tenax Absolute Return Strategies Fund and the Investment Grade Fixed Interest Fund performed well in 2019, and this accolade is a result of our continuing commitment to avoid permanent loss of capital through close management of risk and volatility whilst still delivering a fair return for investors.
Due to various political tensions last year, from US-China trade tensions to the spectacle that was the UK general election in December 2019 (as well as dreaded ongoing Brexit uncertainty), patience has been key in our methodology – helping us to preserve our clients capital.”
Both the Investment Grade Fixed Interest Fund managed by Jeremy Wharton and the Tenax Absolute Return Strategies Fund co-managed with James Mahon can be found on a number of investment platforms and within our managed portfolio services.
