The investment team was augmented last autumn with the addition of Fred Mahon as fund manager on the CH UK Equity Growth Fund. He joined after six years at JM Finn where he was fund manager of their managed portfolio service. Fred began his career as an analyst focusing on UK equities and is a CFA Charterholder.

Rozel Carrow joins CH this month as Marketing Manager from Cazenove Capital where she focused on content planning and production. She will support the distribution of our range of funds to financial advisers and other wealth managers who have increasingly become attracted to CH’s distinctive approach and strong focus on capital preservation across asset classes. For example, 2019 saw strong growth in the Tenax Absolute Return Strategies fund, which attracted £166m of new third-party monies.

Finally, Joseph Manners joins the Private Client team this month from Investec Wealth & Investment. He will be working for our Head of Private Clients, James Johnsen, supporting the growth of the private client side of the business.

For this and other reasons, we are moving our London office to larger, brighter premises across the road at No. 50 Grosvenor Street in April - complete with a roof terrace for clients to enjoy alfresco meetings in warmer weather’

And at our West Country office in Sherborne, Tim Noakes joins us from Santander, as a new Client Manager. A highly experienced wealth adviser, Tim will be working with our Private Clients to deliver sensible planning and smart investment solutions to help them achieve their financial objectives.
