Church House team channel their inner baker for Macmillan World's Biggest Coffee Morning
It was all hands to the ovens last week as members of the Church House team demonstrated their baking prowess for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Cakes ranged from a Ginger and Lemon Loaf cake to a Chocolate and Mint Cheescake. These sweet delights were well received and the sugar rush helped boost morning productivity! Donations totalled £90 and the organiser, Chris Stone, was delighted with the results. "This is a brilliant cause and we were pleased to be involved. Plus, it gave us a great excuse to judge each other's baking skills!"
An amazing event that takes place across the country the World's Biggest Coffee Morning helped raise an incredible £27 million last year. More information on how you can support Macmillian Cancer Support is available here.
Recent charitable endeavours also included participating in Jeans for Genes Day. Business attire was left in wardrobes for the day as the team donned their favourite denim. Maxine Mathieson inspired everyone to get involved and she was happy with the final outcome "We have been supporting this campaign for many years now so I am extremely grateful to everyone who participated".
The hugely successful Jeans for Genes Day makes a big difference to the lives of children and families living with genetic disorders. Read more about this very important work here.
