Years of study rewarded with success
We are delighted to share that Stephen Kershaw, who has been with Church House since 2013, has recently qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant.
This fantastic achievement is the culmination of six years of studying and twelve exams, five of which were done in the last 12 months. Stephen was keen that we reference having a family, and COVID contributed to this taking longer than he planned!
The CIMA qualification combines accounting, finance, and management with the business skills and techniques needed to add value to an organisation with the areas of study, including financial accounting, management accounting, strategic management, and risk management. The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is the world’s largest professional body of management accountants. The CIMA Professional Qualification is recognised worldwide as the most relevant global finance qualification for business.
Everyone at Church House is very proud of Stephen and his commitment to completing these studies. This only goes to strengthen the value he brings to the business.
Commenting on this success, Roger Davis, Managing Director, said:
"Combining the challenge of the day job, family life, and long-term studying is no small feat so I am extremely happy for Stephen. He consistently demonstrates the qualities we are looking for from our team and I look forward to him making an even bigger contribution to the future success of this business".
